Dear Backstabbed,

Well, there are a lot of variables in this question. Are you dating with the guy in question, or just interested in him? Is this girl your best friend or just his best friend? What were the circumstances of the flirting?

Either way, it’s difficult to see the guy you’re interested in flirting with someone else, especially when you feel the girl is backstabbing you. You need to decide how important this guy is and talk to him about how it made you feel (if you’re together). If you’re not together, talk to the girl and explain to her how upset you are.

Either way, the guy and girl may not be worth your time if they’re both hurting your feelings. I hope I helped.

Alright, I know I’ve been on and off a lot over the last couple of months, and I don’t mean to be that way. Hey guys! I’m sorry Ted and I have been so absent. I’ve been finishing up my last year at college and haven’t had a lot of time for tumblr. However, I have wonderful news! I was accepted into the Disney College Program this summer and fall. Things are pretty tight for me financially however, so I’m not sure how much I’ll have when I get to Florida. There are so many expenses and there was such a small amount of time to save. I opened a GoFundMe account, and while I’m not expecting much, if anything at all, I figured it couldn’t hurt.

Well, it depends on how often this boy has hurt you. Has it only been once, or does he give these backhanded comments often?

It’s always nice to hear these things from people, the sweet compliments and the I love yous. But they don’t always mean as much as we’d like them to. I think that though you can give him some trust, you really need to talk to him and get on the same page.

Ask him what his intentions are, where he’s taking this relationship. He should love you for your flaws, and you should never have to hide them. If the glass shatters, it will shatter because he doesn’t deserve you.

A year ago I met a guy and had a crush on him. We became good friends and I moved on. Couple of weeks ago, suddenly he holds my hand, kisses me in head and forehead and when he was about to kiss me I panicked. I know you sent me this awhile ago and I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. Things in my life have been difficult and I’m not proud of the fact that I’ve neglected my friendships with all of you because of it.

It sounds to me like you have a budding relationship with his boy. I think what you truly need to do is sit down with him and ask him what the “almost kiss” meant.
